Today is Eye Health Awareness Day (12/12)—Don’t take your eyes for granted—take these easy steps to keep your peepers healthy (WebMD, 2017):

  • Eat Well—nutrients like Omega 3 Fatty Acids, Vitamin A, C, E
  • Wear Sunglasses—protect from UVA and UVB
  • Use Safety Eyewear—to prevent from hazardous/airborne materials on the job or at home
  • Look Away from the Computer Screen
  • Visit Your Eye Doctor Regularly—Optometrist or Ophthalmologist
