Richard Nielsen

Dr. Richard Nielsen, DPM

Dr. Richard Nielsen was born in Quincy and lived in Reno through high school. He spent three years in the Army with time in Vietnam, Washington, and Germany. He graduated from the University of Nevada and Podiatry School at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and then obtained post graduate training in Reno, Nevada. Dr. Nielsen is married and has six children and began private practice in Susanville in February 1978. He sees patients in several rural community health clinics in Lassen, Shasta, Modoc, and Siskiyou Counties. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Nielsen joined LIHC in May of 2022!
